Hurricane Helene Disaster Recovery for Members

Are you a First Choice Next member who has been affected by Hurricane Helene? This page will be updated with new information as it becomes available.

First Choice Next stands with our members during this period of hurricane emergency. First Choice Next has implemented the following adjustments, beginning September 29, 2024, for all South Carolina members:

  • Allow a 30-day extension to pay premiums and temporarily suspend policy cancellations and non-renewals.
  • Extended grievances and appeals deadlines for 30 days from the date they would have expired

First Choice Next emergency policy changes are temporary and will expire October 31, 2024.
